PG&E’s new program provides bill assistance to eligible customers. Enroll to match every dollar you pay up to $1,000 toward your past due balance.

 

To be eligible and participate in PG&E’s Match My Payment Program you must:

  • Have a past-due balance of at least $100
  • Verify that your household income does not exceed the program income limit of 400% federal poverty level
  • Have a PG&E residential account in the name of the adult living in the household 
  • Make a payment of $50-$1,000 toward your overdue bill, so that PG&E can match your payment after your enrollment is confirmed

Other important information

  • You can make multiple payments to get matching funds. Funds match up to $1,000 toward your past due balance
  • PG&E is providing all the matching funds from a $50 million dollar contribution to assist customers
  • Program ends 12/31/2025
  • Match payments are subject to funding availability

  • Customers who are enrolled in payment plans also may enroll.
  • Customers who are enrolled in the Arrearage Management Plan (AMP) are not eligible.
  • Customers who received a 2025 REACH grant will be pre-qualified based on their previously submitted income documents
  • This is not an all-inclusive list and is subject to periodic modifications.
  • All guidelines are established by PG&E’s Match My Payment Program.

PG&E contracts with Dollar Energy Fund to accept and process assistance requests for the program.
