Assume downed power lines are energized and dangerous. Stay away from the lines and keep others away from them. Call 9-1-1 immediately to report the location of a downed line. After reporting the downed line, call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.

Visit Report & View Electric OutagesPG&E has precautionary measures in place to help reduce the risk of wildfires. Our goal is to help customers prepare for and stay safe during extreme weather events, including sending notifications when and where possible when power may be turned off for safety.
For public safety, it may be necessary for us to temporarily turn off electricity when gusty winds and dry conditions, combined with a heightened fire risk, threaten a portion of the electric system. We will attempt to contact customers in advance to ensure there’s enough time to prepare.
