PG&E programs offer a range of services to support the energy-efficiency efforts of residential customers. Each program is managed by an energy-efficiency implementation specialist selected by PG&E. A variety of programs help meet the unique needs of our diverse customer base.
All programs are open to both owners and renters and customers in manufactured or mobile homes may be eligible. Note that customers may only participate in one program at a time.

Optimize how they use energy throughout the day which will save the customer money, even out the demand on our power grid to avoid power outages, and use energy from renewable sources like solar and wind. |

Shifting the water heater’s energy use to lower priced times so water is heated at a lower cost and then kept hot for when it is needed. Automatic control so the customer does not have to think about how to take advantage of their time-of-use rate. |
All PG&E electric customers who have an electric water heater, either heat pump or electric resistance, and are on or move to a TOU rate are eligible for this program. |
