Please note that the Bar Date has been extended for unfiled non-governmental fire claimants to December 31, 2019, at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time). The original deadline was set for October 21, 2019, at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) and still applies for all other types of claims. For more information on how to file a Fire Proof of Claim, please review the "Fire Claimants" section below or visit officialfireclaims.com.
The Bar Date – the deadline set by the Bankruptcy Court for filing claims in PG&E's Chapter 11 cases – has now been extended for unfiled non-governmental fire claimants to December 31, 2019, at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. The Bar Date is the last day by which any person or entity who believes they are owed money from PG&E for the period prior to the Chapter 11 filing date of January 29, 2019, is required to file a Proof of Claim.
If you have a claim arising from Northern California Fires that occurred prior to the Petition Date (January 29, 2019), please refer to the Fire Claim Bar Date Notice, the Fire Claimant or Wildfire Subrogation Claimant Proof of Claim Form and the Wildfire FAQ available at officialfireclaims.com. If you believe you have a claim against either of the Debtors for personal injury or wrongful death, property damage, or other loss resulting from or in any way relating to the Northern California Fires, you or your authorized agent or attorney MUST file a Proof of Claim form for your Fire Claim prior to the extended Bar Date of December 31, 2019, on the applicable Fire Claimant or Wildfire Subrogation Claimant Proof of Claim form, even if you may be included in, or represented by, a purported class action, class suit, class Proof of Claim, or similar representative action filed against PG&E with respect to your Fire Claim. If you have additional questions regarding your pending lawsuit, class action suit, class proof of claim or similar representative action, you should consult with your legal counsel to assist you. You DO NOT need to file a Fire Proof of Claim if you already filed a Proof of Claim in the Chapter 11 Cases that includes substantially all of the information requested in the applicable Fire Proof of Claim Form. All timely filed Fire Proof of Claim Forms shall be deemed filed against both of the Debtors.
For more information on how to file a proof of claim, please visit officialfireclaims.com or call 1-888-909-0100.
You may submit a Fire Proof of Claim on the applicable Fire Claimant or Wildfire Subrogation Claimant Proof of Claim form on or before December 31, 2019, at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) to the following addresses:

The Bankruptcy Court has now set the deadline, referred to as the Bar Date, for filing claims in PG&E's Chapter 11 cases. The Bar Date, October 21, 2019 at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time), is the last day by which any person or entity who believes they are owed money from PG&E for the period prior to the Chapter 11 filing date of January 29, 2019, is required to file a Proof of Claim.
All PG&E customers will receive the Bar Date Notice in the mail. Our goal in this process is to minimize any confusion this standard noticing process may cause.
Receiving this notice does not mean that you have a claim or that PG&E or the Bankruptcy Court believes that you have a claim. If you do not believe you have a claim against PG&E, you do not need to do anything in response to this Notice or return a Proof of Claim form. You are not required to file Proofs of Claim for ordinary and customary refunds, overpayments, billing credits, deposits, or similar billing items. Inquiries relating to these items should continue to be directed to PG&E's customer service center.
To the extent you believe that you have a claim that arose before January 29, 2019, or that you are otherwise owed money by PG&E from before the filing date that has not been paid (other than for ordinary and customary refunds and similar billing items as noted above), you MUST file a Proof of Claim by the Bar Date on October 21, 2019 at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time). If you fail to do so, your claim may be barred and you may not receive any distribution.
If you have already submitted a claim with PG&E's claims agent, Prime Clerk, prior to receiving this notice, you do not need to file another Proof of Claim.
For more information on how to file a proof of claim, please visit: www.pgecustomerbardateinfo.com or call 1-844-627-7787 (Toll Free) or 347-292-2703 (International)

On June 26, the Bankruptcy Court approved PG&E’s proposed deadline, commonly referred to as the "Bar Date," for claims to be filed against the company from before PG&E filed for Chapter 11. Any person or entity with claims for amounts owed before the Chapter 11 Petition Date of January 29, 2019, is strongly urged to file the required Proof of Claim with the Bankruptcy Court by October 21, 2019, at 5 p.m. Pacific Time to preserve their rights for recovery on amounts believed owed.
All PG&E customers, including retired former employees, have received – or will soon receive – the Bar Date Notice in the mail, and in some cases, through email. You may also receive a shortened version of the Customer Bar Date Notice if you have a PG&E account for electric or gas service.
PG&E retirees will not need to file proofs of claims for ordinary course benefit items that arise after the Petition Date because PG&E is continuing its tax-qualified pension plan and health and life insurance benefits. Certain retirees may need to file claims in connection with their participation in non-qualified benefit plans (for example, PG&E’s deferred compensation plan or its supplemental pension plan for executives), and we will communicate with those individuals in the coming weeks.
Additionally, with regard to the Customer Bar Date Notice, you are not required to file Proofs of Claim for ordinary and customary refunds, overpayments, billing credits, deposits, or similar billing items. Inquiries relating to these items should continue to be directed to PG&E's customer service center. Should you have any questions about the Bar Date or the claims process, please contact the company’s claims agent, Prime Clerk, at 1-844-627-7787 (Toll Free) or 347-292-2703 (International).
To the extent you believe that you have a claim that arose before January 29, 2019, or that you are otherwise owed money by PG&E from before the filing date that has not been paid (other than for ordinary and customary refunds and similar billing items as noted above), you are strongly urged file a Proof of Claim by the Bar Date on October 21, 2019 at 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) to preserve your rights for recovery on amounts believed owed. If you fail to do so, your claim may be barred and you may not receive any distribution. To the extent you believe you have a claim, but do not know or do not have documentation of the exact amount, you can consult with your own legal counsel, and claims may be filed for an unknown amount.
If you have already submitted a claim with Prime Clerk, prior to receiving this notice, you do not need to file another Proof of Claim.
For more information on how to file a proof of claim, please visit: www.pgecustomerbardateinfo.com or call the Prime Clerk hotlines listed above.

A Plan of Reorganization sets forth how a company will satisfy its pre-Chapter 11 obligations to creditors and other stakeholders.
PG&E's Plan is another step in a multi-step process as PG&E works to fairly compensate wildfire victims and emerge from Chapter 11, while continuing to improve safety and operational performance for customers. The Plan is designed to be rate-neutral—in keeping with recently signed Assembly Bill 1054—meaning our customers will not bear the cost of paying our past wildfire liabilities. The Plan will be updated as developments require.

On January 29, 2019, PG&E took the expected next step and filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.
Here are the most important things you need to know right now about this process:
Please know that the Bankruptcy Code does not permit payment for goods and services received prior to the filing date except in very limited circumstances that must be authorized by an order of the Bankruptcy Court. Any claims for such goods and services will be addressed in the Chapter 11 case. We sincerely regret any hardship this may cause.
We are committed to being transparent and to working closely with you throughout this process, and we will continue to keep you informed as we move forward. If you have questions, please reach out to your usual sourcing contact or email our dedicated supplier outreach address at SupplierInquiries@pge.com.

A letter to retirees:
Dear PG&E Retiree,
All of us at PG&E deeply value your contributions to our company, and I wanted to share some important news.
We are reaching out to let you know that PG&E has taken the next step in its reorganization process. On January 29, we filed for Chapter 11 under the Bankruptcy Code.
We want to make sure you understand what this means for you, what you can expect going forward, and what we are doing to continue serving you safely and reliably. Here are the most important things you need to know about this process right now:
For those of you with a cash balance Plan benefit, as of January 29, 2019, the Plan is not legally permitted to offer a lump sum payment option for a participant or beneficiary whose benefit is worth more than $5,000. You are still eligible to receive the Plan benefit, and there are no restrictions on payment in the form of a life annuity, a joint pension, or a marital pension.
We will continue to provide updates as we move through this process. As always, to the extent changes are contemplated or required that might impact you or your benefits, we intend to notify you in a timely manner. If you have questions, you can find FAQs and additional information on our website at www.pge.com/reorganization.
As always, we value the service that you provided during your tenure at PG&E.
Sincerely,
John R. Simon

As a core value, PG&E has always been committed to supporting the communities we serve through our charitable giving, volunteerism and other non-profit community activities.
With that said, in light of the current situation, the utility's community giving programs must be re-evaluated and are currently on hold. In connection with the reorganization process, PG&E’s charitable program may be subject to review.
A note about the PG&E Corporation Foundation: Although it is fully separate and distinct from the utility and not subject to review as part of a PG&E reorganization, the PG&E Corporation Foundation's charitable giving program is also being re-evaluated.
Currently, we do not have a timeline for when we can provide an update on our 2019 charitable giving program. Please check back at a later date for updates or contact PG&E Community Relations at communityrelations@pge.com.
