If you need time off due to the current Public Health Emergency, the type of pay and/or leave benefits you may be eligible for is dependent on your reason for absence.

Detailed information is included on this page with alternative modes of care offered under the PG&E Health Account Plan (HAP) – such as Telemedicine, Anthem or Kaiser Advice Lines and mail order prescriptions.

In December 2021, two new COVID-19 treatments were approved by the FDA. Paxlovid by Pfizer and Molnupiravir by Merck both received an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the FDA for its oral antiviral therapy for COVID-19.
Anthem Blue Cross and Kaiser cover these therapies subject to medical guidelines. Please refer your respective provider portal (Kaiser or Express Scripts) for more specific and the most up to date information.
