PG&E and contracted Third Parties offer programs for customers to save or earn money by adjusting energy usage. Participation also helps balance the electric grid without producing emissions.
Generally, you can participate in just one energy incentive, energy reducing, peak hour or direct bidding program at a time.* If you are currently on one of these programs you cannot enroll in another until you discontinue participation in your current program.
To learn more about participating in energy incentive programs with companies other than PG&E, visit Third-party incentive programs for demand response.
*Customers are allowed to be enrolled in both Power Saver Rewards and SmartRate.

Leap offers partners with flexible load or batteries to provide their customers with incentives to automatically participate in events during the year.
OhmConnect's free service helps residential consumers use energy when it's cleanest and rewards you for saving energy when it's dirty.
Take advantage of PG&E's smart thermostat rebates to help you participate in demand response programs. If you are enrolled in a DR program, you are eligible for a $50 rebate in addition to the possible $120 in other rebate offers from PG&E. Eligible demand response programs are SmartRate or with third-party providers under the Capacity Bidding Program or the Demand Response Auction Mechanism pilot. There is one application for all smart thermostat rebates.
If you're unsure if a specific smart thermostat qualifies for a rebate or are still making a purchasing decision, visit the PG&E Energy Action Guide to confirm which products are eligible.
