Two ownership options are available: EV Charge Owner and EV Charge Sponsor. If program participant selects EV Charge Owner, the program participant will own, install, and maintain the EV charging stations. If a program participant selects EV Charge Sponsor, PG&E will own, install, and maintain the EV charging stations.

The charging stations will be served by a dedicated meter on a commercial rate. The program participant will always be the "customer of record" and pay for electric service to the chargers.
Yes, the program participant can choose to charge drivers for electricity or offer it for free. If the site charges drivers, they can either pass along their rate directly to drivers or create a custom pricing plan. If a custom plan is used, the program participant must participate in the Load Management Plan.
The charging stations are on their own meter and will be billed separately from the building load.
