Solar Choice programs for your business

PG&E's Solar ChoiceRegional Renewable Choice
Solar Energy Source

Solar energy is purchased from a pool of solar projects in Northern and Central California.

You can elect to purchase renewable energy from a specific project within PG&E's service territory.
Enrollment

You can enroll through PG&E by calling 1-877-743-8429 or signing into your online account.
Purchase Level

You can elect to purchase solar energy to match either 50% or 100% of your energy use.

You will be able to contract directly with developers for a desired amount renewable energy, between 25% and 100% of your annual use.
Billing

Customers will receive a modest charge on their PG&E monthly energy statement within a couple of billing cycles. Find out how it would impact your energy statement or download the Product Content Label (PDF, 103 KB) and Price, Terms and Conditions (PDF, 236 KB) for more details.

Renewable developers will invoice you directly for your renewable power. In turn, you will receive a bill credit on your monthly PG&E energy statement when projects begin delivering energy.
