Here's what to do if a power line goes down in your community

If a power line goes down in your area, never touch it and stay away as it can still be live.

 

Immediately call 9-11 and then call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.

Keep everyone, including kids and pets, away from a downed line.

Do not touch anything or anyone who has been in contact with a downed power line.

Avoid driving over a downed power line.
