New PG&E Advertising Spotlights Company’s Progress in Improving Reliability and Safety and Lowering Rates

On the Frontlines for Us All Ad Campaign

We know you count on us every day for the energy that powers your lives and your communities. All of us at PG&E deeply feel the responsibility to provide you with the safe and reliable energy you deserve, while keeping bills as low as possible.

What makes that responsibility so personal? It’s simple. We live and work in the same communities as you do. If the energy isn’t running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, our homes and families and neighbors are affected too.

And we know you want PG&E to be better. From conversations in local coffee shops to the thousands of satisfaction surveys you complete each year, we know you want an energy system that is ready to meet the demands of today and tomorrow.

We know you care that PG&E is prepared to meet the challenges of more intense and more frequent extreme weather.

And you especially want to know whether we’re finding the most cost-effective ways to get our work done safely.

Starting this week, PG&E begins a new advertising campaign — On the Frontlines for Us All — with the goal of showing you our progress on precisely those issues: safety, reliability, lower bills, and more.

These ads (paid for by shareholders, not customers) will showcase our coworkers doing the work they love in the communities and cities they call home.

We had no trouble finding volunteers to be in them! Why? It’s because our coworkers don’t just work in these communities. They’re your neighbors. They coach your kids’ basketball teams, and they referee your kids’ soccer matches. They’re proud to be part of the places they serve and they want you to see our progress.

And that’s why we call this campaign “On the Frontlines for Us All.”

We’re proud to showcase how PG&E is getting better, and I hope seeing these proof points of improving reliability and safety, and lower rates, will give you confidence that PG&E is becoming exactly the type of energy company you want it to be.
