Panoche Station in Fresno County is at the heart of our natural gas system, connecting out-of-state sources from New Mexico to the south and supply coming in from Canada in the north, before being distributed to our 4.5 million natural gas customers. A major upgrade project was completed earlier this year to modernize the station while reducing methane emissions. "New piping, new instrumentation, new valving, new automation. Everything that we put in is for the safety and reliability of the system," said Gas Working Leader Micah Patton.
