To Northern California Communities:

PG&E has always been committed to supporting the communities we serve through our charitable giving, volunteerism and other non-profit community activities.

Since 2000, PG&E and the PG&E Corporation Foundation have together granted more than $100 million to support communities in need. In 2018 alone, PG&E and the PG&E Corporation Foundation made nearly $28 million in charitable investments to local communities.

PG&E currently faces unprecedented financial uncertainty related to wildfire liability. Given this financial uncertainty, PG&E's charitable program for 2019 is currently on hold.

In the event of a bankruptcy, PG&E's charitable program will become subject to review in conjunction with that proceeding. We regret we cannot make any financial commitments toward events, programs or partnerships at this time.

A note about the PG&E Corporation Foundation:

Although it is not anticipated that the PG&E Corporation Foundation will be included in a potential PG&E Chapter 11 filing, the PG&E Corporation Foundation's charitable giving program is also being re-evaluated in light of the current situation.

Currently, we do not have a timeline regarding when we can provide an update on our 2019 charitable giving program. Please check back at a later date for updates or contact PG&E Community Relations at communityrelations@pge.com.
