PG&E is committed to environmental sustainability. It influences how we select and manage our supply chain priorities, processes and partners. It affects our product and service strategies. Since 2007, we’ve strived to:

• Advance ecological responsibility, excellence and innovation in our supplier network
• Train suppliers on environmental management expectations and systems
• Work closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement

We ask our suppliers to:

• Implement and track their own environmental management and use policies
• Set voluntary reduction goals
• Report their performance publicly

We conduct regular environmental performance assessments in partnership with the Electric Utility Industry Sustainable Supply Chain Alliance.

PG&E follows a “reduce-reuse-recycle” framework to identify products and procurement that measurably improve our environmental profile.

We compiled Go Green resources which businesses can utilize to develop their own green business program.
