Supplier code of conduct information

At PG&E, we understand that a strong commitment to compliance and ethics is the foundation of a successful business.

We are committed to ethical business conduct and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies, and we expect our contractors, consultants, suppliers and vendors to work with us in this shared commitment.

Contractor and supplier safety

At PG&E, there is nothing more important than public, employee and contractor safety. PG&E has a Contractor Safety Program outlining requirements for managing and overseeing contractors and subcontractors at all tiers.

Resources for small and diverse businesses

Many organizations exist to help small and diverse businesses. You can also become a certified diverse supplier or register as a small business, which may provide your business with additional opportunities.

Diverse business certification

You can apply online at the CPUC Supplier Clearinghouse.

Service-disabled veteran-owned business enterprises (DVBE) must obtain certification from the California Department of General Services.

Technical Assistance Program

We understand that an important part of supporting the competitive success of small and diverse businesses is offering a broad range of educational and capacity-building training. PG&E's Technical Assistance Program collaborates with subject matter experts to develop new training initiatives and refresh existing ones to reflect current business trends. We partner with our community partners on these efforts too.

Learning Management System

Our Technical Assistance Program (TAP) Learning Management System (LMS) online video training platform is designed to empower you and your business with valuable, actionable and on demand processes and practices. These courses can assist any enterprise aspiring to scale, improve business strategy, increase management capacity, or achieve new overall levels of excellence.

We enlist industry subject matter experts as course instructors to provide a series of best practices to help your business succeed. The LMS video courses allow self-paced study, and include workbooks, downloads, quizzes, and other interactive elements to keep you engaged and foster a greater depth of learning.

Prime Supplier Academy

PG&E’s Prime Supplier Academy delivers valuable supply chain responsibility training to our suppliers. In-person workshops provide education, resources and tools that help our suppliers increase engagement in and ownership of their own supplier diversity, environmental sustainability and supplier code of conduct initiatives.
