Suppliers interested in working with PG&E can respond to RFx opportunities posted on our website. Be sure to review each RFx carefully and follow instructions when responding.


The primary types of RFx documents are:


  • Request for information (RFI), used to gather information and determine qualifying suppliers.
  • Request for proposal (RFP), used to obtain solution proposals to specific needs including scopes of work.
  • Request for quotation (RFQ), used to obtain pricing on a clearly defined need before awarding a bid to the selected supplier.
