Watch some of the world's best Linemen and Apprentice Linemen show off their skills. Rodeo events include pole climbs, hurt-man rescues, and live-line tool expertise. As usual, safety comes first. The quickest—and safest—linemen win.
What’s at stake? A shot at the 2023 Annual International Lineman's Rodeo & Expo! Top finishers from PG&E will travel to Overland Park, Kansas to compete in October!
Calling all competitors: Linemen teams and apprentices

We need JUDGES!! This event requires 55 to 65 judges. All current and former journeyman linemen qualify! Just complete the application. You'll receive a confirmation email with more information.
Sponsors/Vendors
The Rodeo Committee invites you to participate by displaying items that will be of interest to attendees. If your company supplies PG&E-approved hand tools, lineman supplies, clothing or other products used by Utilities, we welcome you to register by emailing PGERodeo@totalsafety.com. In past years we have held an event-wide raffle, but this year we will leave raffles to the vendors and their individual booths. You will not need to bring your own tents. One tent, one 6’ table and 2 chairs will be provided with each booth. The tents are 10 x 10 “easy ups.”
Activity Sponsorship will be around areas such as refreshments and the kids’ activity area. In addition, $500 from the Gold Sponsorship will be used as a scholarship. The scholarships will be presented to selected volunteers from the Northwest Lineman College during the awards ceremony, with recognition of the donor as well.
For anything other than a standard tent display or the need for special accommodations, please contact Tim Rosser at 916-212-7165.
