Spring 2020 Bundled RPS Energy Sale Solicitation

PG&E is conducting a solicitation to sell Portfolio Content Category 1 (PCC 1) bundled Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) – eligible energy and Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) generated in 2020 and 2021 pursuant to a confirmation.

The solicitation complies with PG&E's 2019 RPS Plan which was approved by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) in Decision 19-12-042.

	Participants may register online at PG&E’s RFO website to receive notices regarding the solicitation.	Ongoing
	PG&E issues the solicitation.	April 10, 2020
	Participants' Webinar	April 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM
	Bids Due. Bid(s) must be submitted to the online platform at Power Advocate.	May 5, 2020 at 1:00 PM
	PG&E notifies qualified Participants.	May 7, 2020
	PG&E and qualified Participants execute an Agreement, which shall be subject to “CPUC Approval,” as provided in the Agreement.	Late-May 2020
	PG&E submits Agreements for CPUC Approval.	No later than 60 days after execution.

Solicitation Materials

Participants must meet the criteria established in PG&E's Solicitation Protocol in order to submit bids for the purchase of PCC 1 bundled RPS-eligible energy and RECs from PG&E. As a requirement to participate, Participants must submit a completed Bid Form in accordance with the solicitation timeline. The Bid Form is now an editable PDF of the EEI Master Agreement Confirmation. Submission of Participant Attestations and executed Confidentiality Agreement are also required as part of the bid package. Additionally, all other required bid package documents are listed below.

-Participant or end-user counterparty must demonstrate that it has an “Active” legal status authorized by the California Secretary of State in order to engage in business with PG&E. A webpage screenshot verifying Participant or end-user counterparty’s “Active” legal status via the California Secretary of State’s webpage is acceptable. The California Secretary of State website is located at https://businesssearch.sos.ca.gov/. Note, a Joint Powers Authority ("JPA") is also acceptable.
