December 2019 Bundled RPS Energy Sale Solicitation (Short-Term REC Sales)

PG&E is conducting a solicitation to sell Portfolio Content Category 1 (PCC 1) bundled Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) – eligible energy and corresponding Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) generated in 2020 pursuant to a confirmation.

The solicitation complies with PG&E's 2018 RPS Plan which was approved by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) in Decision 19-02-007.

Power Advocate Instructions and Registration

All Participants interested in submitting a bid package will need to pre-register with Power Advocate before submitting a bid into the solicitation using the link below:

Solicitation Materials

Participants must meet the criteria established in PG&E's Solicitation Protocol in order to submit bids for the purchase of PCC 1 bundled RPS-eligible energy and RECs from PG&E. As a requirement to participate, Participants must submit a completed Bid Form in accordance with the solicitation timeline. If Participants propose edits to the form of Agreement, those edits must be included at submission of Bid.  PG&E requires Participants to agree to the Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Provisions attestation in the Bid Form.  Submission of Attachment C as part of the bid package is not necessary.

  -Participant or end-user counterparty must demonstrate that it has an “Active” legal status authorized by the California Secretary of State in order to engage in business with PG&E. A webpage screenshot verifying Participant or end-user counterparty’s “Active” legal status via the California Secretary of State’s webpage is acceptable. The California Secretary of State website is located at https://businesssearch.sos.ca.gov/. Note, a Joint Powers Authority ("JPA") is also acceptable.
