Program details

EV Charge Manager, offered through the GM + PG&E Smart Charge Bundle, takes the guesswork out of charging your electric vehicle (EV). The program automatically charges your EV when electricity costs and energy demand are lower.

 

Participants who stay connected and meet the program requirements will earn a $15 monthly bill credit.

Program eligibility

To participate, you must:

  • Have residential electric service with PG&E
  • Live in a single-family home or detached residence
  • Own or lease an eligible GM EV**
  • Have an active OnStar® service plan, including Connected Access or OnStar Basics Plans, with location services enabled

**Currently, this includes the following GM EVs:

  • 2024–2027 Chevrolet Silverado EV
  • 2024–2027 Chevrolet Equinox EV
  • 2024–2027 Chevrolet Blazer EV
  • 2024–2027 Cadillac LYRIQ
  • 2024–2027 GMC Sierra Denali EV
  • 2025–2027 Cadillac CELESTIQ
  • 2025–2027 Cadillac Escalade IQ/IQL
  • 2025–2027 Cadillac OPTIQ
  • 2026–2027 Cadillac VISTIQ
  • 2026–2027 GMC HUMMER EV
  • 2027+ Chevrolet Bolt EV
  • 2025–2027 GMC Sierra EV

To qualify for the credit each month, you must:

  • Maintain an active OnStar® service plan with location services enabled
  • Have active PG&E electric service with PG&E
  • Complete at least one home charging session during the month

 

 Note: PG&E offers this program. Similar programs may be available by your local Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs) or other organizations in your area. Eligibility requirements, conditions, incentives and terms may vary. You cannot enroll in this program if you are already enrolled in another PG&E demand response or EV managed charging program.
