High pipeline inventory is an historic fact over the Fourth of July holiday period. This year's holiday is likely to be no exception.

With the exception of last year, high inventory operational flow orders (OFOs) have hit the Fourth of July week every year since 1998, the year OFOs were first implemented on California Gas Transmission's system. With inventory already running high, CGT asks all of its customers to pay particularly close attention to balancing gas supply with usage in the coming days.

Keeping supplies at or below daily demands will help ensure everyone has a carefree Canada Day and Independence Day.
