Parallel Period Passes

Thursday, June 28, 2007

CGT once had a system
That ran on a server with Citrix.
An upgrade was done
And, oh -- that was fun! --
For months it's how we got our kicks!

And now with a Web-based design,
Our INSIDEtracc system is fine!
With customers cheering,
Our Citrix is nearing
Its time for the end of the line.

Since California Gas Transmission's May 22nd rollout of our Web-based INSIDEtracc system, the "new" and "old" INSIDEtracc systems have been running in parallel. On Monday, July 9, 2007 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time, CGT will retire the "old" Citrix-based INSIDEtracc system.

CGT has had great feedback from our customers regarding the new Web-based INSIDEtracc system. Customers found that it is intuitive and easy to use, with easy navigation. We also received positive comments about:

  • The single logon screen
  • The column in the Message tab designating in which cycle gas cuts occurred
  • Better options for managing TSAs
  • Having all processed reports viewable in one screen

As always, we appreciate hearing your comments about the system and work to enhance INSIDEtracc based on your feedback. We look forward to your continued feedback.

As we prepare for the passing of the parallel period, we want to ensure that our users are comfortable with our Web-based INSIDEtracc. If you were not able to attend a training session and would like training for the Web-based application, or still require an ID or password for the new system, please contact a CGT Account Services Representative for assistance.
