High pipeline inventory is not unusual on a long holiday weekend. The upcoming weekend is likely to be no exception.

High inventory operational flow orders (OFOs) have hit the Fourth of July weekend every year since 1998, the year OFOs were first implemented on California Gas Transmission's system. With inventory estimated to be high, CGT asks all of its customers to pay particularly close attention to balancing gas supply with usage in the coming days.

Keeping supplies at or below daily demands will help ensure everyone has a carefree Canada Day and Independence Day.
