Many Americans will celebrate Independence Day with a three-day weekend beginning this Saturday. To help keep everyone's holiday independent of gas hassles, California Gas Transmission asks that you please keep your supply at or below your daily demand over the weekend.

Long weekends have a history of high pipeline inventory. High Inventory OFOs have hit the Fourth of July weekend every year since 1998, the year OFOs were first implemented on CGT's system. With inventory now running high--and forecast to rise further as the holiday approaches--CGT asks all its customers to pay particularly close attention to balancing in the coming days.
