Pacific Gas and Electric Company filed applications Friday with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission seeking regulatory approval of important elements of the utility's plan to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Among these applications is a FERC Section 7 filing, seeking FERC jurisdiction over the Company's natural gas transmission and storage systems.

You may download much of the voluminous application itself from the PG&E Regulatory Cases Web site by selecting the regulatory case "PoR-FERC-NGA-S7-GTrans" under the properties search. Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Web site also provides further information on its federal applications and the status of the Plan of Reorganization.
