Pacific Gas and Electric Company is now reminding its noncore end-use customers of the importance of planning ahead for high summer and fall gas demands. A Gas Transportation Forecast has been provided to some noncore customers.
The forecast shows demand will exceed flowing supply occasionally this summer and fall. This situation is similar to last year, requiring noncore withdrawals from storage to meet demand. In such an event, suppliers without firm supply, transportation and/or storage inventory and withdrawal may find themselves squeezed by short supplies.
California Gas Transmission provides this document so that suppliers may anticipate their end-use customers' concerns and questions.
A CGT Account Services Representative is available to answer your questions regarding the coming season.
