California Gas Transmission's current forecast for this weekend and early next week shows the mercury dropping substantially in Northern California. The current forecast calls for the coldest day on Monday. However, forecasts can change substantially in just a few days.
Although an Abnormal Peak Day (APD) is not forecast and is highly unlikely, temperatures approaching a Cold Winter Day (CWD) are possible in some areas. Local curtailments and/or diversions are not likely unless temperatures drop below CWD levels.
CGT asks gas suppliers to be ready for winter conditions this weekend and early next week by taking the following precautions:
CGT Schedulers are on duty, answering the hotline seven days a week. Over the weekend, Scheduling can refer you to an on-call Sales or Account Services Representative should you require their assistance.
