Before you begin a pump overhaul project, you need to get a pump test from PG&E's Advanced Pumping Efficiency Program (APEP) or a qualified pump tester. The tests examine several factors to determine Overall Pumping Efficiency. The APEP program can help subsidize the cost of a pump test. You're also required to schedule a pump test after your overhaul. Learn more.
