Diablo Canyon unit 2 returned to full power

Avila Beach, Calif.— Operators at Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E) Diablo Canyon Power Plant safely returned Unit 2 to full power on Thursday, August 21, following the completion of maintenance activities on backup diesel generators.
The unit was safely taken off-line on August 14 to perform the work. Unit 1 continues to operate at full power.
