INSIDEtracc Enhancements Coming Soon

Thursday, October 17, 2002

The old adage, "You want it? You got it!" is alive and well in Pacific Gas and Electric Company's California Gas Transmission. We've been listening to our customers' requests for change, and have been busy as ever this summer responding to your desires. Coming this October, we will offer some exciting new INSIDEtracc enhancements to simplify your lives.

AutoRenom

Tired of the daily swipe and type required to make incremental nominations in INSIDEtracc? The new AutoRenom feature will give customers the option to have INSIDEtracc automatically create new nominations for future cycles based on volumes cut in the current cycle.

Simply turn on the AutoRenom feature by checking a box in the initial Nominations screen, and any cut volumes will be automatically renominated in the next cycle. If the volume is cut in the next cycle, that volume will again be renominated in the following cycle. The AutoRenom volume will be the difference between the nominated and scheduled volumes.

AutoRenom will replace the current incremental nomination feature in INSIDEtracc. Customers will no longer need to manually renominate cut volumes every cycle.

E-Confirm and E-Accept

Tying up fax machines with reams of paper going back and forth between companies is no one's idea of fun. Yet it happens on a daily basis.

CGT has simplified the process. By incorporating the ability to electronically confirm and accept contract exhibits and agreements into INSIDEtracc, we've done away with faxing these documents back and forth to our customers!

Our E-Confirm service allows customers to electronically confirm previously recorded verbal agreements for transmission services.

New customers to CGT will use our E-Accept service to accept a new Gas Transmission Service Agreement or Noncore Balancing Aggregation Agreement.

Customers will be notified automatically by e-mail when an exhibit or agreement is ready for their action. To E-Confirm or E-Accept the document(s), simply log on to INSIDEtracc and navigate to a screen that will list contracts waiting for review and action. No more faxing involved.

All customers will need to sign a revised Electronic Commerce System User Agreement, which includes specific provisions for this service. CGT will mail updated ECS User Agreements to customers by the end of August for their signatures. The revised ECS User Agreements must be signed and returned by the end of September.

Stay tuned to Pipe Ranger for further updates on these October enhancements to INSIDEtracc. After a busy summer, settle back and simplify your life by taking advantage of our new AutoRenom, E-Confirm, and E-Accept services. "You want it? You got it!"
