Pacific Gas and Electric Company's California Gas Transmission is holding a second capacity release of firm transportation to offer the unsold capacities on Gas Transmission Northwest (GTN), which is the CTAs’ rejected allocated core pipeline capacity.  

The capacity release auction process will begin at 7:00 AM, July 1, 2025 and will close at 8:00 AM Pacific Time on July 3, 2025 to coordinate with the timeline on the interstate pipelines.

The capacity release includes Firm Transportation on the following pipeline:

All offered transport will be for a single month contract, available for the specified quantity in October 2025.

By end of day June 30, CGT will send the information packet via e-mail to all parties who currently hold a Gas Transmission Service Agreement (GTSA) with CGT and have the "Trader" role in the INSIDEtracc System.  The information packet will include details on the offering available and how to participate in the capacity release process.
