As part of facilitating the Core Gas Aggregation Program and as a service to Core Transport Agents (CTAs), Pacific Gas and Electric Company's California Gas Transmission is offering a capacity release of firm transportation, which is the CTAs’ rejected allocated core pipeline capacity.

The capacity release auction process will begin at 7:00 AM, June 6, 2023 and will close at 8:00 AM Pacific Time on June 8, 2023 to coordinate with the timeline on the interstate pipelines.

The capacity release includes Firm Transportation on the following pipelines:

All offered transport will be for a single month contract, available for the specified quantity in the months of July - October 2023. By June 5th, CGT will send the information packet via e-mail to all parties who currently hold a Gas Transmission Service Agreement (GTSA) with CGT and have the "Trader" role in the INSIDEtracc System. The information packet will include details on the offerings available and how to participate in the capacity release process.

As you may be aware, Ruby Pipeline is now under Tallgrass Interstate Gas Transmission, LLC. If you currently do not have access to their Ruby CONNECT System, any interested parties for Ruby Pipeline capacity will need to submit the New User/New Customer Access forms and Master Capacity Release agreement that can be located on their EBB link: https://pipeline.tallgrassenergylp.com, as soon as possible. Processing time for New Customer Access forms can range up to a week. Customers who need this access to be able to bid for Ruby capacity at this capacity release auction will need to state that when they email in their completed forms to customer.support@tallgrass.com for priority processing.
