Gas Rule 26 Disclosure Notification

Date: February 18, 2021

PG&E’s Gas Operations organization recently made the decision to retire the Tionesta compressor station within the next few years. In a recent internal email, the decision to retire the Tionesta compressor station was mentioned in a discussion unrelated to the Tionesta station. Representatives from PG&E’s Core Gas Supply were copied on the email. PG&E is providing the same information to all market participants via this news article, that the Tionesta compressor station will be retired in the next few years. This was the information that was inadvertently disclosed to PG&E’s Core Gas Supply. PG&E plans to outline the details of the Tionesta compressor retirement in the 2023 General Rate Case filing later this year.
