Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP)

PG&E’s Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) provides financial incentives for the installation of new, qualifying self-generation equipment.

Current Renewable, Emerging &/or Waste Energy Recover Technologies include: Wind Turbines, Waste Heat to Power, Pressure Reduction Turbines, Advanced Energy Storage, Biogas, & Fuel Cells (Electric or Combined Heat & Power).

Current Non-Renewable Technologies Include: Internal Combustion Engines, Microturbines, & Gas Turbines (all combined heat & power technologies).

Solar rebates are currently administered under PG&E’s California Solar Initiative.
