Employee Resource Groups Sponsor Scholarship Programs

The Employee Resource Groups at PG&E are an essential bridge of communication between our employees and customers. One of their key roles is to reward college-bound students for their academic achievements and community service with scholarships. March 1, 2010, is the deadline for submitting scholarship applications.

InspirAsian Employee Resource Group

The InspirAsian Employee Resource Group sponsors an annual scholarship program for college-bound high school seniors. We believe in supporting well-rounded candidates who will contribute positively to our society in the near future.

Black Employee Resource Group

The Black Employees Resource Group embraces the importance of education—the key to success in today’s competitive job market. Our Black Employees Resource Group Scholarship Program offers financial support to deserving students who are continuing their education.

Samahan Employee Resource Group

The Samahan Employee Resource Group is committed to making a positive impact for PG&E, our members and the communities we serve. Awarding scholarships to deserving college-bound students is one way we show that commitment.

Latino Employee Resource Group

The Latino Employee Resource Group is focused on the personal development of PG&E employees, as well as uplifting our community. We are proud to reward college-bound seniors with scholarships for their academic achievement and cultural involvement.

PrideNetwork Employee Resource Group

The PrideNetwork Employee Resource Group is the founding sponsor of the eQuality Scholarship Collaborative, which awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Northern and Central California who have promoted awareness and equality for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.

Women’s Network Employee Resource Group

The Women's Network Employee Resource Group champions the career advancement and personal growth of women working at PG&E by offering mentorship opportunities, community outreach and a forum to discuss obstacles women face in the workplace.
