Giving locally

Our mission for a safer, better California

We are dedicated to building safer and more resilient communities. Through our charitable giving program, we invest in:

  • Emergency preparedness; safety and resiliency; food insecurity; and justice, equity and inclusion
  • Climate resiliency; environmental stewardship; and land, air and water quality
  • STEM education, workforce development and support for small business

2024 Grant Cycle

The 2024 grant cycle is from April through September 2024. Organizations seeking funding are encouraged to reach out to their local PG&E representatives during this period. We welcome general inquiries about our programs at CommunityRelations@pge.com; however, we are unable to support unsolicited grant requests by email.

We often meet new nonprofit partners out in the community. If we have not met you yet, please say hello at an upcoming event in your hometown. PG&E representatives are at many of them!

Showing Up for Asylum Seekers

Campaign for the Community

We’re proud of PG&E’s more than 20-year workplace charitable giving campaign. The value it provides to our coworkers and the organizations is huge. In the last 10 years, coworkers and retirees have contributed more than $110 million in support to our communities.

Campaign for the Community also matches those donations:

  • Up to $1,000 per person for individual donations
  • Up to $5,000 for coworker-initiated fundraisers.
