CARE (California Alternate Rates for Energy)
The CARE program provides a monthly discount on energy bills for income-qualified households and housing facilities. Qualifications are based on the number of persons living in your home and your total annual household income.
New CARE Electric Rate Information
On November 1, PG&E introduced a new CARE electric rate. As a result, CARE customers who use higher amounts of electricity may see an increase in their bills.
