To subscribe to OFO Text Messaging:

To utilize this service, customers must have a mobile device with text messaging capability activated. If you do not verify receipt of our text message, you will not be added to this list.

  • Company Name
  • Your Name
  • Mobile Device 10-digit Phone Number
  • Mobile Device Service Provider (i.e., Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, etc.)
  • Your E-mail Address

Please remember that INSIDEtracc remains the primary source of OFO notification. The OFO Text Message notification is a courtesy service only. Internet Service Providers (ISPs) warn us that text message notification can fail for arbitrary and unpredictable reasons. PG&E does not represent or warrant that Text Message notification will reliably provide OFO notification, and customers utilizing the Text Message notification service do so at their own risk. Customers assume full responsibility for informing PG&E of updates to subscriber mobile device numbers.

A complete description of CS-OFO notification procedures can be found here.

Sprint/T-Mobile users: After Sprint and T-Mobile merged, their systems no longer seem able to receive OFO text messages. This affects both Sprint and T-Mobile devices. As stated above, INSIDEtracc remains the primary source of OFO notification. The OFO Text Message notification is a courtesy service only and customers utilizing the Text Message notification service do so at their own risk. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and although this is a courtesy service, we are still trying very hard to fix the issue and are working directly with T-Mobile to work towards a possible solution. In the meantime, if you have a secondary mobile device that has a different provider, we recommend you sign up with that device instead. We will remove this section if/when this issue is resolved.

To unsubscribe:

If at any time you wish to discontinue this service, please send an e-mail to CGTPiperanger@pge.com, with a blank subject line. The contents of the message should read: Unsubscribe ofo-notice (yourMobileDevice10digitNumber)
