PG&E filed Advice 4617-G with the California Public Utilities Commission on June 8, 2022, to revise Gas Rule 14 to implement the Eight-stage Operational Flow Order (OFO) noncompliance structure, effective July 1, 2022.
To comply with California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Decision (D.) 22-04-042, issued April 21, 2022, the Commission ordered PG&E to implement an eight-stage OFO noncompliance penalty structure. This revision will add three new OFO stages to PG&E’s current five-stage OFO structure. Instead of the OFO noncompliance increasing from $5.00/Dth to $25.00/Dth between Stages 3 and 4, the new OFO rules create intermediate Stages 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3, which impose noncompliance penalties of $10.00/Dth, $15.00/Dth, and $20.00/Dth, respectively.
PG&E requests that this Tier 1 advice submittal become effective on July 1, 2022.
