PG&E Seeks Buyers for its Pleasant Creek Natural Gas Storage Field

On December 1, 2020, Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) announced via press release that it is seeking buyers for its Pleasant Creek natural gas storage field, located in Yolo County, California. The Pleasant Creek field is the smallest of four underground natural gas storage fields owned wholly or partly by PG&E. Sale of the property will include:

  • An underground gas reservoir with a working storage capacity of 2.3 billion cubic feet (Bcf)
  • Approximately 400 acres of real property and subsurface rights to another 2,167 acres
  • Wells, piping, compressor and ancillary facilities, and natural gas pipeline infrastructure
