Effective gas day March 13th, Topock Compressor Station receipt capacity will be derated from 1140 MMcf/d to 780 MMcf/d on a permanent basis. The derate will reduce the total capacity to transport gas received from the El Paso Natural Gas (EPNG) and Transwestern Pipelines (TW) upstream of the Topock Compressor Station. The capacity derate is due to pending modifications at the station to reduce cost.
If the total nominations received from the EPNG and TW interconnect points at the Topock Compressor Station exceeds the receipt point capacity of 780 MMcf/d, the EPNG and TW interconnect receipt volumes will be reduced to allocate the available capacity according to Gas Rule 14. The maximum combined capacity on any given gas day may be adjusted depending on operating conditions. Daily physical interconnect capacities are available on Pipe Ranger.
Even though the Topock Compressor Station receipt capacity is reduced; the Baja path capacity will not be impacted as the firm receipt point Baja path capacity will remain rated at approximately 1000 MMcf/d.
