Announcing the New Manager of Scheduling and Accounting

Friday, September 25, 2015

California Gas Transmission would like to announce the retirement of Margi Janopaul. Margi had been in and around the utility industry for 37 years and had been Manager of the Scheduling and Accounting team at PG&E for the past 11 years. She was a fearless leader who described her experience as a dream job. From Margi: "I won't miss the 5 a.m. text message OFO, but I will miss the camaraderie. That's the part of the job that made it very easy to come to work every day."

And what will she be doing now in retirement? "It will start (and end) with traveling, relaxing, spending time with my husband, and figuring out what to do when you can do anything you want." Who can blame her? We hope Margi has an amazing time on her new adventures!

CGT is also saying goodbye to Supervisor of Gas Scheduling, Laura Lapera. Laura is retiring after 38 years with PG&E, 12 years in her Gas Scheduling role. Laura’s sense of humor, deep knowledge of gas scheduling, and laser-sharp focus on customer satisfaction will be greatly missed. She has been quiet to reveal what she’ll be up to in her next chapter, but knowing Laura, it will be fun and rewarding. We wish her the best!

CGT is excited to announce the new Manager of Scheduling and Accounting, Ann Mountford. Ann has been a part of the gas business within PG&E for 25 years and most recently was Manager of Market Relations. Fun fact, Ann is actually a CPA and her first job at PG&E was as a volume accountant in Gas Accounting, so her new role brings her full circle. Ann has already assumed her new position, so please join us in congratulating her!
