...And the answer is:

NONCORE BALANCING AGGREGATION AGREEMENT

Or, as we like to call it, an "NBAA". A marketer or supplier can enter into a balancing aggregation agreement with CGT to group their noncore end-use customers for the purpose of balancing for the group, rather than each individual customer. The Balancing Agent accepts responsibility for all applicable balancing obligations pursuant to Schedule G-BAL.  The predominant responsibility is keeping track of the aggregated group's imbalance, which is the difference between the balancing group's total monthly supply and total monthly usage. The Balancing Agent would then trade any balance over the tolerance band during the upcoming imbalance trading period.

If you do not currently have an NBAA, but are interested in getting one, please contact your CGT Account Manager, and they will assist you with the process.
