This is an ALERT. Customer nominations on the Redwood Path (Line 400/401) for gas day 08/21/2013 are very high and may exceed the capacity capability of the Redwood Path if nominated volumes on this path increase.
PG&E's California Gas Transmission may be forced to allocate as-available capacity on the Redwood path per gas Rule 14.
As-available Redwood path supplies flowing from Malin and Onyx Hill, and net withdrawals flowing on Mission-on as-available from Wild Goose Storage, Lodi Gas Storage, and Central Valley Gas Storage all compete for the same as-available pipeline space.
When nominated volumes from these sources exceed the capability of the Line 400/401 system, CGT will allocate as-available Redwood transportation, Wild Goose Storage net withdrawals, Lodi Gas Storage net withdrawals, and Central Valley Gas Storage net withdrawals based on the nominated volumes.
During this time, please continue to pay close attention to matching supply and usage in order to minimize imbalances.
Should an allocation be necessary in the Evening nomination cycle or in subsequent cycles for gas day 08/21/2013, CGT will provide notification of this occurrence.
If you have any questions, please contact the California Gas Transmission Helpline at 1.800.343.4743 and press 2 for Scheduling assistance.
