New Transportation Rates Effective April 1st

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

PG&E's California Gas Transmission has revised transportation rates effective April 1, 2013. Take a look at the revised rates here This link will open in a new window.

The increases are predominantly due to the recovery of AB32 compressor station emission allowance compliance costs which began January 1, 2013. CPUC Decision 13-03-017 provides for PG&E to recover costs incurred by PG&E to purchase Greenhouse Gas emission allowance for six gas compressor stations that emit over 25,000 MT CO2e (metric tons of carbon dioxide) per year, as required by California Assembly Bill (AB) 32. CGT has revised its backbone transmission rates accordingly.

If you have a copy of CGT's Guide for 2013, the rates are now incorrect. We are in the process of updating the Guide.
