An accident involving a cement truck may have impacted a small section of the Baja Path this afternoon. As a precaution, PG&E's California Gas Transmission will be isolating a section of pipe just downstream of Kern River Gas Transmission's interconnect at Daggett. The section will be inspected and if necessary, repaired. As a result, the Baja Path capacity will be reduced to 875 MMcf/day for gas day, Saturday, January 12, 2013. It is our expectation that the section of pipe will be returned to service by or before the end of the gas day.
