Missing AMR Data Starting February 28

Friday, March 02, 2012

Updated: PG&E has successfully uploaded the AMR data for the 85 noncore customer meters who were missing the Leap Year day data, through March 6 data. We are in the process of generating these customers' February 2012 bills and will have them completed by tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience as we resolved this problem.

PG&E has been working through the weekend with our software vendor to resolve the meter read issue related to 85 noncore customer meters. The issue remains unresolved at this time, and additional testing and validation will be continuing on Monday.

California Gas Transmission customers who are serving these meters will be contacted by their Account Services Representatives on Monday morning with any additional updates we may have at that time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and will continue to update Pipe Ranger as we know more.

AMR data for approximately 85 noncore customer meters is currently unavailable, due to an issue related to this year's Leap Year day, February 29.

The vendor software used by PG&E to collect meter usage data collected 23 out of 24 reads for February 28, with the last hour missing. No reads were collected for February 29. To avoid processing data incorrectly, PG&E temporarily stopped collecting data for the affected 85 meters.

CGT does not currently have an estimated time frame as to when this data will be available; however, we will update Pipe Ranger as we receive new information.

Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue. If you have any questions, please contact your CGT Account Services Representative.
