A pressure test conducted Monday morning on a section of pipeline near Bakersfield, California resulted in a failure of that section of pipe. PG&E is committed to ensuring the safety and integrity of its pipeline system, and is moving to replace and retest that section of pipe.

California Gas Transmission expects that work to be completed within our existing time frame, and with no impact to our scheduled pressure restoration efforts. CGT continues to work diligently to restore capacity and inventory flexibility for this winter season.
