No Flow Off-system: KRS for Gas Days April 27-29

Monday, March 21, 2011

Capacity on the Baja path, going off-system at Kern River Station, will be reduced to zero MMcf/day for gas days April 27 through April 29, 2011. PG&E's California Gas Transmission will be performing pipeline upgrade work in preparation for in-line inspections scheduled for 2012. This pipeline work has been scheduled for some time and is not related to the San Bruno pipeline rupture of September 2010. There will be some impact to flows on gas day April 30th as well, as the work will be completed sometime during the day, April 30th.

Customers desiring to nominate gas off-system during this period, may do so by continuing to nominate with a destination of Kern River Station. During this outage, CGT can provide off-system deliveries to SoCal Gas up to a maximum of 50 MMcf/day at the alternative physical delivery point of Kettleman Inter-tie. The estimated Baja Path capacity will range from 910 to 1058 MMcf/day over these gas days. As maintenance schedules are subject to change, please stay tuned to the Pipe Ranger Maintenance page for further updates.
