OFO Inventory Upper Limit Parameter to be Lowered

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

As a result of a temporary change to the Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure on a section of PG&E's Line 401 pipeline, California Gas Transmission will be lowering the OFO inventory upper limit parameters by 100 MMcf effective Thursday, November 11, 2010.

This temporary reduction means the upper limit will be 4400 MMcf when system sendout is 2.8 Bcf or lower, and 4500 MMcf when system sendout is greater than 2.8 Bcf. (Current upper limits are 4500 MMcf and 4600 MMcf, respectively.)

CGT is anticipating this reduction will be in place into the first quarter of 2011.

Daily inventory limits can be found at Pipe Ranger's System Inventory Status and System Inventory Summary pages, and will be updated to reflect the reduced limits.
