Gill Ranch Storage Open for Business

Updated: Posting Gill Ranch Storage field volumes to California Gas Transmission's Pipeline Status page has been unavoidably delayed. Our goal is to have these volumes posted by the end of this week.

In the meantime, we have updated the table below to include days October 7 - 12. We apologize for this delay, and are working to have Gill Ranch volumes posted as soon as possible.

Gill Ranch Storage field is now open for business! As a co-developer, PG&E's portion of the gas storage facility will provide approximately 5 BCF of additional underground gas storage capacity, which PG&E will integrate with its existing storage tariff services. This new facility is located approximately 25 miles west of Fresno and is connected to PG&E's gas transmission Line 401.

Unfortunately, California Gas Transmission will not be able to start posting Gill Ranch Storage volumes on our Pipeline Status pages quite yet. We are anticipating that we will start posting the Gill Ranch volumes by next Wednesday, October 13th.

Here are the Gill Ranch volumes to-date, from the date of first gas flow (September 16th) through yesterday's gas day (October 6th).

We will update these to-date numbers for you on the date we start posting to Pipe Ranger.

Please also be aware that you can view daily Gill Ranch Storage timely scheduled volumes on the FERC 720 daily posting file. These numbers reflect the scheduled volumes representing Gill Ranch Storage's 75% interest in the field. PG&E's 25% interest is integrated into our existing storage tariff services, and nominations for all of PG&E's storage activity is represented in the "PG&E Storage" line item.
